The EnviRx Green Innovation & Public Health Scholarship
Houston’s future depends on students who can think clearly about environmental health, sustainable growth, and community well-being. Each year, this fund awards $1,000, paid directly to the recipient’s college or university, to one Houston-area student working toward that future.

Eligibility Criteria
Who Can Apply
Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
- Must be a graduating high school senior or a current undergraduate student.
- Must be enrolled in, or formally accepted to, an accredited two-year or four-year college or university.
- Must reside in, or attend high school/college in, the Greater Houston area (including Houston, The Woodlands, Spring, Conroe, Katy, and Cypress).
- Must be pursuing, or planning to pursue, a field connected to environmental science, biology, business, or public health. Closely related fields will be considered at the review committee’s discretion.

Write an original, 500–800 word essay addressing the prompt above. Focus on actionable ideas and real community impact rather than general theory.

Save your essay as a PDF titled Lastname_Firstname_Envirx2026. Include your full name, contact information, and target college or university at the top of the document.

Terms, Selection & Disclosures
How It Works
- One (1) recipient is selected per award cycle by the EnviRx scholarship review committee, based on the quality, originality, and community relevance of the submitted response.
- The $1,000 award is issued as a check made payable directly to the recipient’s accredited college or university, to be applied toward tuition or official fees. Funds are never paid directly to the student.
- No purchase, donation, or service engagement of any kind is required to apply, and applying has no effect on any current or future business relationship with EnviRx.
- Information collected through this application (name, contact details, school, and submitted response) is used strictly for reviewing applications and selecting a winner. It is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for marketing purposes.
- All decisions of the review committee are final. Applicants will be notified of the outcome by email on or shortly after the announcement date above.
2026 is the inaugural year of the EnviRx Green Innovation & Public Health Scholarship. There are no past winners to display yet. We’ll publish the first recipient’s name and school here (with their permission) after the January 15, 2027 announcement.
